Sweet & Simple Boho Backyard Birthday

Parties
I made a bunch of tissue paper flowers, a batch of her favorite cupcakes & put up the teepee. ย The girls spent the afternoon running around the backyard giggling and blowing on noisemakers. Even though it was just our little family of four, it was a really perfect & sweet afternoon spent in the sunshine.

  1. ahhhhh stevie this is so cute!! your little monkey is so gorgeous and cute, having a mega blast! absolutely love the fluffy tissue paper flowers (looks like an archway!) and the colours. xo

  2. You’ve done it again, Stevie…you created a magical wonderland! I’m always impressed with your knack for combining just a few simple materials and POOF, it’s a beautiful scene where each element is allowed to shine.

Your girls look like they are having an absolute blast…Mommy bonus points all around! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll be looking forward to your flower arch tutorial…did you just tie each one to branches, or is there wire or something supporting the structure?

  3. Thank you, Lisa! The flowers naturally arced because the trees are pruned in that shape. I just looped floral wire through the center of each flower & wrapped wire around branches. I did have to use mini clothes pin to keep a couple of the flowers from facing the ground. For those, I simply took a petal from the last/back layer of the flower and pinned them to leaves. The whole thing was a “figure it out as you go” kind of process LOL. xo

    1. We have had a lot of requests, so we are working on one! Glad you loved the party & thanks for syopping by to say Hi!! xoxo
